DescriptionGeneral Purpose and Scope of Position:The position is responsible for ensuring that business processes are aligned with the Company strategies, initiatives, policies and best practices. Position will improve business processes by addressing deficiencies and incorporating improved processes in order to achieve and maintain optimal levels of performance and quality.Key Skills and Abilities Include:Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in dealing with sensitive informationAbility to communicate and understand the needs and values of the branch teams and develop solutions to meet objectivesProficiency with systems and software including Microsoft Office 365, ERP order entry systems with ability to learn new software; JD Edwards and MicroStrategy software proficiency preferredAbility to multitask, prioritize assignments and work autonomouslyAbility to train and educate areas and branches on business policies, processes, and best practicesCapability and willingness to drive constructive changes and hold areas and branches accountable for acceptable business processes, system use and outcomesAgricultural experience in retail environment strongly preferredBS in business, accounting or relevant management experience requiredKey Personal Attributes:Excellent interpersonal skills for peers, teammates, customers and vendorsExcellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsStrong data analysis skillsStrong ability to engage and influenceAble to travel overnightSpecific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:Lead the assigned Areas in meeting and exceeding business process requirements such as TTP, order entry, order fulfillment, price book utilization, fertilizer blending and inventory managementTravel to branches throughout the assigned Areas to review and assess processes, workflows, organizational structures, work assignments and implement improvements as neededRoutinely monitor and analyze branch business process metrics, communicate findings and outline corrective actions if requiredActively engage other support groups within the region, both to participate in the business process message and provide input to inventory and/or operational audits where requiredEnsure the business process message is consistent with the goals and/or requirements of other operational support groupsRepresent the assigned Areas at/on division or geography business process meetings and calls, interact with other business process teams in other geographies as requiredBe responsible for the communication of the business process message to branch operations teams through regular calls and emailsIdentify & capture gaps in the field with systems and /or business processes that create barriers to achieving branch efficiency and/ or company goalsCommunicate gaps and needs to ABS, Corporate IT and other support teamsBe available, via telephone, web conference or in person, for JDE, AgVance, Seedware, ASAP, o9, Nextraq, MicroStrategy troubleshooting and questions escalated from the IT help desk, or questions directly from branch personnelSupport the implementation of new business processes and/or systems by facilitating branch training meetings and communicating with branch personnelProvide feedback to National support teams regarding issues, additional training needs and the overall success of the implementation processProvide feedback on system improvements or enhancements to ABS TeamDevelop and implement operational reports to help branch staff and managers follow the right processesCoordinate the training of new employees in proper business process as well as basic and advanced functionality of the JD Edwards ERP system, AgVance, NexTraq, ASAP, o9, Seedware, MicroStrategy and other systems as neededCollaborate with corporate support teams (ABS, A/P, A/R, CFS, Field Technology, Supply Chain, EHSS, DOT, RBA, Corporate Tax, etc) to monitor business process activity, help troubleshoot problem areas, and identify training needs at the branchesCollaborate with corporate support teams (ABS, A/P, A/R, CFS, Field Technology, Supply Chain, EHSS, DOT, RBA, Corporate Tax, etc) on any projects that affect business processes, provide insight to the JD Edwards ERP system, and identify additional training needed to accomplish the rolloutUnder the authority of the Regional Operations Director, drive required business process changes throughout the assigned Areas in partnership with area and branch managementProvide regular feedback to the Regional Operations Director on the progress and issues associated with the implementation of business processes in the assigned Areas/BranchesGet involved in projects and initiatives as directed by the Regional Operations DirectorCompensation and Benefits:Competitive annual salary (to be determined based on experience and other factors)Comprehensive employee health and retirement benefit offeringsIf you are an internal Wilbur-Ellis employee, please notify your manager prior to applying for any position.
