Call Center Representative
AgStar is seeking a Client Service Representative in our Mankato, MN location to provide extraordinary service to all clients utilizing the services of the AgStar Center for Extraordinary Services (ACES). Promotes AgStar’s products and services to clients in order to more fully meet their financial services needs. Responds to all incoming telephone calls regarding account status, billing inquires, questions/problems and product/service inquiries. Identifies and addresses the client’s needs and performs client transactions, as directed. When necessary, refers the client to another AgStar team member for additional follow-up. Based on established marketing strategies, initiates outbound calls to educate clients on AgStar's products and services and to increase event participation in order to deepen our client relationships.Qualified candidates for this position will have;Some post high school education in accounting, business administration or related field 2 to 4 years related work experience, with prior contact center experience in the financial industry preferred Background in agriculture preferred Solid accuracy and attention to detail essential Excellent client service skills essential Very good interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management skills Strong listening skills Very good computer skills including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Solid knowledge of AgStar products, services (including Internet Banking), processes, team members, and teams/functions Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferredAgStar, a leading financial services cooperative of the Farm Credit System, has been named one of the Top Workplaces of Minnesota through an employee survey conducted by the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
