Capital Sales Specialist
??BASIC?FUNCTION:This position will be responsible for the sales support of Capital Goods products (includes both Conventional and Automatic Milking Systems products) in New York.? The candidate must be competitive and outgoing, sales and technically oriented.?RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for selling Capital equipment.Responsible for weekly sales reporting and follow up.Deliver trainings to customers on both commercial and technical aspects of the products.Responsible for communicating with customers both in person (on the farms) as well as over the phone.Leverage marketing intelligence from what competitors do in the market.Give key input to set the demands in product development.?EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:Degree in technical, agricultural, veterinary, chemistry or other relevant area for the product range5-7 years of experience in a closely related product area/environmentSales experience ? preferably through a dealer network or channelHas experience with set-up of new salesGood communication skills?COMPETENCIES:A successful candidate will have the ability to serve as a dairy consultant ? understanding the issues on the farm and providing appropriate solutions based on DeLaval?s product lines.?
