The Global Finance Organization at Monsanto has an exciting opportunity available for a Cash Management Specialist. This role will provide support and guidance for key Accounts Receivable/Credit processes to ensure occurrence of timely and accurate customer transactions in compliance with CCP and SOX controls.  This role is responsible for ensuring that the cash processes and systems are in place for incoming and outgoing payments for all commercial businesses in the U.S. and will work closely with the Shared Service Center by providing direction to ensure that their work is timely and accurate.  This role will also serve as a liaison for several key external relationships that support AR and Financing activities. Responsibilities include: Provide guidance to the Commercial organization on Accounts Receivable processes to facilitate efficient processes and accurate accounting.Act as liaison between Shared Service Center and internal customers.   Provide feedback, oversee cash processes, drive process improvements and ensure timeliness and accuracy is maintainedAssist with integrations of new businesses, as well as changes to existing commercial businesses that impact Accounts Receivables.Management of John Deere processes for all brands, reconciliation of activity and support for internal customer queries.  Provide AR support to Regional Brands and Corn States and drive process improvements for Credit and Operations while enhancing customer serviceServe as Wells Fargo liaison to manage our current banking services they provide; assess enhanced services and implementation of new technologiesOversight of online Bill Pay including managing mailbox, granting permissions, driving increased utilization, tracking metrics and assisting internal and external customers with questions and trainingCheck by Phone Oversight including granting and monitoring access, providing user training, maintaining security around processOwn relationship with credit card service provider, grant and monitor user access, coordinate/provide user trainingOversee check refund process for Regional Brands and  CornStates  ensure deadlines are met and accuracy is maintainedComplete monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations in accordance with Monsanto policy Qualifications:Required skills/experience:Bachelor???s degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance or a related field of study2+ years of related experience in a finance roleThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record, with demonstrated success in the following areas:Candidate must be self-directed, organized and resourceful.  Experience in cross-functional process improvements/project management and change managementAbility to understand the ???big picture??? of topics, but also maintain focus on detailsA friendly customer-service attitude is required and necessary for success in this roleStrong relationship and communication skillsProven problem solving ability – including a strong sense of urgency leading to issue resolutionStrong results orientation – consistent process execution with analytical understanding of process resultsAbility to learn new systems quicklySolid knowledge of MS office applications, particularly ExcelGood working knowledge of SAP
