Cattle & Land Manager
Gpac is partnered with a reputable farming operation in Eastern Arkansas in their search for a Cattle & Land Manager. This opportunity would involve the management of around 500 cow/calf pairs and 2200 acres of pasture and hay ground. The right candidate must have the ability to expand and grow the current operation, along with improving land efficiency.Responsibilities: * Manage day-to-day operations of a cattle and hay operation * Work & doctor cattle- vaccinations, tagging, general herd check, calving, feeding/watering * Manage pasture and hay ground * Hay operations- cut & bale hay * Manage a crew of 2-4 employeesQualifications: * Experience with cow/calf operation * Ability to diagnose health issues with cows and/or calves
* Experience with vaccinations, tagging, herd check, calving, etc. * Operation of hay equipment and pasture management
* MUST have your own horseCompensation/Housing * $45,000-$55,000 base salary * Housing included- 3 bedroom, 1 bath brick home; recently renovated
