CFO Tyson New Ventures
SUMMARY:Responsible for developing and implementing the financial strategies and process for the newly formed Tyson New Ventures, LLC (TNV). The CFO will be responsible for all finance, accounting, tax, portfolio valuation, financial andinvestor reporting as it pertains to TNV. Provide functional leadership and SME to support deal valuation, portfolio performance evaluation, and annual budgeting for TNV.REQUIREMENTS:Education: Bachelor's degree and MBA (or other advanceddegree) required.Experience: Combined 10 years of experience, with 5+ as a CFO, Vice President/Director of Finance or Controller in a private equity, hedge fund, or venture capital firm with direct experience working with limited partners, capital calls, waterfall calculations, fund distributions, etc. Demonstrated experience working across all stages of deal development and across a spectrum of deal constructs is required. Significant knowledge of and direct experience in the food sector — branded retail, foodservice, and commodity, as well as food or agricultural-related tech, strongly desired. Experience must include exposure to corporate finance as this position will be responsible for integrating the TNV group financial activity into Tyson Foods.Computer Skills: MS Office, excellent at Excel, predictive modeling and simulation software.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including sharing ideas and information across diverse audiences and making presentations in order to drive business decisions. Confident and able to be influential and assertive. Ability to synthesize clearly and simplify the complex.Travel: 50% or greaterSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneSpecial Skills: Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and decision making skills. Strong understanding of complex private equity structures.
