Union, NJ Wherethe Chemistry Happens We are seeking a professional like you to strengthen andsupport the Quality Management Systems used by the Precious Metals AssayServices group in Union, NJ. The team is an integral part of BASF?s globalCatalyst division, supporting global manufacturing, recycling, and R&Dbusiness units.In this role, you will be part of BASF?s global R&Dteam and work specifically with quality management systems, working well bothindependently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This is anexcellent opportunity for you to demonstrate your strong analytical, problemsolving, organizational, and communication skills. You will also be able to showcaseyour ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-pacedenvironment.Formula for SuccessLeveragingyour education in Chemistry or a closely related scientific field combined withyour work experience in a quality management, control, or assurance role (specificexperience working with ISO 9001:2015 and/or ISO17025: 2017 is preferred) and your familiarity with Six Sigma and LeanManufacturing concepts, you will be responsible for identifying opportunitiesfor continuous improvement to lab work practices and communicate them to supervision.Demonstrating your experienceworking with LIMS and/or SAP computer systems and your proficiency in the useof Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), you will work wellwith others to facilitate laboratory performance measures.
