Chief Executive Officer
A growing grain merchandising company in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas is searching for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This is a new position resulting from a merger of two established merchandising firms owned by several of the largest, most successful grain cooperatives in a three state area. The CEO will be responsible for leadership and overseeing the operation of this dynamic new company including budgeting, goal setting and achievement, employee hiring and training, business development and customer satisfaction. The firm markets aproximately 120 million bushels of wheat, corn, milo, and canola from locations ranging from the Texas panhandle to south central Kansas. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four year college or university in Business, Agricultural Economics, Finance, or other related fields. An MBA, though not required, would be a plus. Encumbant must be able to make decisions and have excellent communication skills. Must be customer focused, self-motivated, hard-working, have good time management and organizational skills. The firm offers completive salaries with excellent benefits for the right person.
