 If the opportunity of scaling a company quickly from a solid foundation and patented technological superiority gets you excited, read on.  We are an innovative early stage company with revolutionary patented and proprietary water treatment technologies with revenues of $5M annually and projected revenue of $11m in 2017.  The Company is in the process of monetizing multiple application verticals for its unique water treatment systems.  The Company’s advanced oxidation process technology conditions water and will reduce the world’s dependence on chlorine and other hazardous chemicals for disinfecting and treating water.  The potential end markets are global and touch practically every aspects of human interaction with water. Currently, the Company is primarily focused on developing agricultural and food markets.  We have hundreds of units treating animal drinking water with excellent results increasing livestock production rates through decreased mortality and disease and overall healthier herds and flocks.  We have also shown ability to improve production in horticulture and irrigation system effectiveness. We are seeking a dynamic CEO to lead the organization to the next level of development of this multi-divisional business.  We have laid the groundwork with superior R&D, a growing sales force, partners in Canada, Brazil, and Mexico, and additional vertical opportunities identified. This is an opportunity to change the paradigm of water treatment across the world.  Are you the person to take us to the next level?  About the position:The CEO will be responsible for leading and focusing the company from its roots as an innovative developer of water treatment technologies to a profitable, fast-growing and cash-flow positive enterprise selling water treatment technologies to agricultural, building, and industrial customers.  The CEO will oversee all facets of operations including Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Fundraising and Finance.Mission critical key accountabilities include: Sales & Marketing:Develop a sales and marketing program including a structured sales funnel and pipeline to create predictive sales revenueMeet with customers in the agriculture and food industry to promote the Company’s water treatment technologiesUnderstand current model (rental) and its capital/cash requirements, and evaluate other/additional models (i.e. sales versus rental, up front deposits, etc.)Focus team and capital on markets (both vertical and geographical) that are most profitable, capital efficient, and primed for growthMeasure and grow efficiency of sales team (sales/ dollar spent) Finance:Develop new banking relationshipsDevelop and achieve budgeted forecast for revenue, profit and cash flowMeet with investors as necessary and promote the Company’s business opportunities to encourage investment Manufacturing:Develop international manufacturing relationshipsLead the implementation of efficient sales pipeline-to-manufacturing-to-inventory metricsEnsure tracking of inventory and implement quality, COGs, and time-to-delivery metrics Management:Build and assist teams in the development of business processes and procedures ensuring best practices in all areas of the CompanyKeep the Board of Directors informed on the status and direction of the Company, as well as our investors Traits required for success:  Our ideal candidate is data-driven and capable of both building and selling a strategic plan and then being laser-focused on achieving results which are aligned with the strategic plan.  A team-based, collaborative approach and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions, is the key to achieving the performance objectives.  A firm and goal oriented leadership style, while motivating, training and engaging others in an enthusiastic way is important.  A sense of urgency and confidence to handle a variety of challenges as well as innovative and creative problem solving will help you achieve the results consistent with our culture. Skills/Experience/Knowledge required:Minimum 15 years as a senior executive with strong sales and operations experience in multi-divisional business environmentsExperience in the food and agriculture industry is requiredProven track record in scaling business unitsProven ability to develop the strategic direction of the businessStrong business development and sales skillsSkilled in handling investor relations, raising capital and Mergers & AcquisitionsProven ability to build and develop teams, including the analytical tools to develop and grow sales teamsStrong MS Office skillsFrequent user of SalesForce; FinancialForce of value4 year degree required; advanced degree is desirableAble to travel a minimum of 30% of the time both domestically and internationallyCurrently reside or willing to live in or around Denver, CO
