Responsible for processing both multi-peril crop insurance (MPCI) and crop hail claims while providing “World Class Service” to our policyholders and agents.
Primary Job Duties
Maintain a strong working knowledge of claims processing and DCIS service standards. *
Timely and accurate processing of basic to complex claims in assigned territories. *
Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects at one time. *
Read, analyze, interpret and follow rules and guidelines on processing claims. *
Identify ways to improve claims processing and customer satisfaction.
Excellent communicator who thrives on solving problems, while working in a team environment. *
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills. *
Ability to multi-task and complete tasks in a timely manner. *
Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform complex functions. *
Proficiency in using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and intranet applications.
Degree Required Agricultural or business degree strongly preferred.
Occasional — 5% *
Initial position training may require 2-3 weeks of training at various service office locations.
