Position Summary:The clerk position requires a dedicated, trustworthy, and detail-oriented person with the desire and ability to provide exceptional administrative support.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the dynamics of the business and priorities of the company.
The successful candidate will perform administrative and clerical duties along with supporting staff members.Job Responsibilities: Responsible for accurately receiving, coding, verifying, and processing
invoices for paymentProcess weekly payroll and assist with hourly candidates new hire processSupport corporate accounting staff with information and data requiredDevelop and maintain office filing system (including record retention) in paper & electronic formatResponsible for monthly data entry & purchase requisition creationManaging accounts payable, accounts receivable, shipping documents, and various month end applicationsResponsible for work order completion and closure Job Requirements: Must have previous experience operating multi-line phone system and general office equipmentGood working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Power Point, Excel)Ability to resolve routine problems independentlyAbility to prepare routine administrative paperwork; analyze and solve problems; organize and coordinate; foster a cooperative work environment; and maintain efficient office workflowAble to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, vendors and protect confidential
informationAbility to maintain a positive attitude and adapt to changes in environment and responsibilitiesA strong spirit of teamwork, cooperation, and a proven ability to cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with people at all levels inside and outside of the organizationExcellent organizational and time management skills with an attention to detail and follow-upPhysical requirements include standing, filing, bending, keyboard and scanner operation and sitting for extended periods of time.Relocation assistance is not available with this position.
