Summary/Purpose:MetaFarms is a fast growing, progressive production software company focused on animal agriculture. MetaFarms has been in this business for over 15 years and now has significant market share in the North American pork industry. We are well positioned to continue gaining market share with opportunities to expand globally and to enter additional livestock markets. The Client Success Lead oversees all aspects associated with the successful delivery of services to customer(s). This person will work closely with cross functional teams to clearly understand industry needs and trends bringing value added services to our clients. This position will work directly with customers to implement and support their business and strategic needs and is directly responsible for retention, success and support of all clients including species in swine and poultry both in the US and international. This role is responsible for providing critical customer insights through surveying customers, hosting user groups, gathering feedback and providingmarket insights to Product Management. Essential Job Functions:Drive and foster open and clear communication across the organizationDirect and oversee all aspects of Customer Service policies including: customer onboarding/setup, customer support, customer retentionManage and oversee Client Success TeamDrive and enhance procedures and policies governing customer correspondence and the handling of customer challengesEnhance and execute Account Management strategiesHelp grow the account portfolio revenue year over year and manage profitabilityFacilitate an environment conducive with high morale and positively motivate personnelUnderstand all client engagements and how the projects impact the overall business resultsEnsure all team members provide timely, flexible, innovative and proactive value added service recommendations to clientsRecommend strategies to the other senior managers to provide strategic value to customers and companyIdentify and develop sales opportunities based on strategic needs of clients and potential engagements. Help clients understand how the critical capabilities of our solutions are aligned with their business initiativesWork closely with sales and other cross functional teams to help exceed revenue and profit goalsDevelop processes that help customers better utilize our software services to improve customer satisfaction and help customers become more successful in their operationsDesign and lead User GroupsPresent at industry trade showsUnderstand and clearly articulate inner workings of pork industry throughout the supply chainClearly articulate value proposition to owner, CEO, CFO, CTO, heads of production, etc.Effectively build, manage and consistently improve on industry relationships in order to grow the business Required Skills and Experience:Bachelor of Science degree in animal nutrition, animal science, animal genetics, agribusiness, ag-science, agronomics or a related agricultural discipline or related experience Deep understanding of data and technologies in animal agricultureBelieve in the value of legendary serviceManaged a staff of 5 to 15 people minimumNurture and develop relationships with clientsKeep a pulse on what’s going on in our clients’ industriesDeliver business-changing insights to clients on a regular basisExcellent organizational and planning skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and group)Strong team player Additional Skills and Experience:Experienced in selling nutrition, genetics or pharmaceuticals to sophisticated medium to large livestock and/or poultry production systems/companies a plusProduction management experience working in commercial swine and/or poultry industry helpfulFood supply chain knowledge and organizations helpfulAdvanced degree holders such as MS, PhD, or DVM’s are encouraged to apply Please no phone calls. *This description covers the primary purpose and principal duties of the job.
