COE Data Analyst – #01RGL
We are seeking a highly-motivated COE Data Analyst. This position will be located in St. Louis, MO, reporting to the Production and Planning COE Lead. This role will work as a member of the Planning and Production COE (Center of Excellence) Team. The COE Data Analyst will perform pipeline analysis and operations modeling to determine action plans that will advance the production & planning capabilities for our breeding pipelines. This role will have the opportunity to develop new strategies and implement plans. Key Responsibilities:Use scientific methods, processes, algorithms and systems to extract knowledge and insights from data to enhance our planning and production processesAnalyze breeding pipelines to identify improvement opportunities, impact operational strategy, and secure process alignment with stakeholdersProvide stakeholders insights on operational outcomesPartner with regional breeding teams to understand and operationalize breeding strategies, pipeline schemes and long-range plansProvide feedback to planning team leads on prioritization, progress, and feasibilityDevelop performance metrics to measure the planning process performance and effectivenessEvaluate cost benefit analysis & risk mitigation strategiesQualifications: Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of a Bachelor???s Degree in Data Analytics or a related field3+ years of related experienceProficiency in data visualization (Visio, Spotfire, and/or Tableau) and Microsoft Office toolsFunctional programming experience with R or PythonProject management experience, with the ability to drive projects to completionAptitude to lead by influence and establish strong partnershipsProficiency in solving complex problems with creative and effective solutionsAbility to travel overnight occasionally Desired Skills/Experience:Master???s Degree in Data Analytics or related field Understanding of plant breeding pipelines and operationsBusiness strategy acumen and ability to build alignment across teamsFamiliarity with operational research models for complex logisticsAbility to recognize trends in metrics data leading to new insights for improvementExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with shifting priorities, strategies, and timeframesAbout Us:Bayer successfully completed the acquisition of Monsanto in June 2018, bringing together Monsanto???s leadership in seeds and plant traits with Bayer???s leadership in chemical and biological crop protection.
