COE Optimization Analyst – #01RGM
We are seeking a highly-motivated COE Optimization Analyst. This role will be located in St. Louis, MO, reporting to the Planning and Production COE Lead. This role will work as a member of the Planning and Production COE (Center of Excellence) Team. The COE Optimization Analyst will use metrics, data analysis, and operations modeling outcomes to develop optimizations that will advance the production capabilities for our breeding pipelines. This role will have the opportunity to develop new strategies and implement plans. Key Responsibilities:Drive optimization of the planning process and leverage data insights Develop metrics analyses to evaluate process effectiveness and implement process structure changes Partner with stakeholders to understand opportunities, risks, and pain points Advise and participate in the implementation of global solutions, processes, and standards Provide insights on process and governance factors that will impact strategy and planning Ensure the solutions produce insights that create value and the business can interpret and execute Identify target areas for process innovation and assist in developing solutions Create clear communications on insights and benefits to drive adoption of optimizations Champion the development of a continuous improvement culture through lean awareness and six sigmaQualifications:Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of a Bachelor???s Degree in Process Engineering or related field At least 3 years of related experience Proficiency in data visualization (Visio, Spotfire, Tableau) and Microsoft Office tools Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal and organizational skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple countries Business strategy acumen and ability to build alignment across teams Project management experience, with the ability to drive projects to completion Aptitude to lead by influence and establish strong partnerships Capacity to implement process improvements using metrics analyses Ability to travel overnight occasionally Desired Skills/Experience:Master???s Degree in Process Engineering, Planning and Logistics, or a related discipline Understanding of breeding pipelines and operations Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification Proficiency in problem solving with operational research models for complex logistics Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with shifting priorities, strategies and timeframesAbout Us:Bayer successfully completed the acquisition of Monsanto in June 2018, bringing together Monsanto???s leadership in seeds and plant traits with Bayer???s leadership in chemical and biological crop protection.
