?Job DescriptionThe Mission and PositionThis colleague?s Mission will be to advance the Mission of California Sun Grower Services, LLC, which is, to create value for growers principally through the provision of tomato transplants and transplanting and harvesting services.This position also plays a critical role in taking responsibility for the timely supply of the proper quality and quantity of tomatoes to our factories.This colleague is expected to provide advanced analysis, insight, strategic integration and execution of all company operations including production coordination, technology, marketing, sales, general administration, finance and accounting. The majority of individuals who have been socialized into the authoritarian, bureaucratic workplace, will not work well here. Serious respect for colleagues and mutual agreements will work well.First, the only musts for these positions are solid integrity, a strong sense of curiosity and commitment, natural talent for mechanics and quantitative analysis plus a drive to achieve business success. You must be passionate about well run operations and machinery.Second, a grounding in the technical aspects of business would provide advanced value, however, we will provide substantial internal and external resources to support your education in these areas, as required. These areas would include finance, accounting, legal, insurance, marketing, sales, production of our products, logistics and strategic planning. If you do not have grounding in these areas, we will provide that grounding. The passionately curious person with an innate talent for quantitative analysis will acquire these quickly.
