The Bayer Crop Science Commercial Excellence Leadership Program (CELP) gives high potential individuals an excellent opportunity to build a career in marketing, sales, or general management. The two-year rotational program provides practical, diversified experiences in a world-class global company with leading brands in agriculture. How the 24-month Rotation Program Works: Commercial Excellence Project Leads will participate in diversified and challenging assignments in different business functions based upon business needs and personal development goals. The program consists of approximately four 6-month rotations. Potential rotations include: strategic marketing, tactical marketing, sales and finance. As a Bayer CELP participant, you are encouraged to take ownership of your personal professional development plan and identify a mentor once you have started at Bayer. Together with your mentor, you will oversee your development and progress throughout the entire program. Selected training will also be integrated into the CELP curriculum to accelerate your development as it best suits your individual needs. What You Can Achieve: This strategically designed program prepares you for various positions within the Bayer Crop Science organization. It provides an excellent foundation for challenging assignments and further career growth in a company that values people and their contributions. The primary responsibilities of this role, Commercial Excellence Project Lead, are to: Gain exposure to BCS through a two-year rotational assignment focused on Marketing, Sales, and other selected departments as needed to round out the incumbents business experience;Team participation in a variety of marketing and sales initiatives, including taking active roles in the sales process within the field and managing product portfolios in operational marketing functions;Project assignments in cross-functional and multicultural teams. Some exemplary projects below;Shadow and support Field Tech Service Reps to learn agronomics, products, gain grower experience, and interact with field sales reps;Product management role for selected products e.g. repositioning an existing product line to experience the 4 P’s in real-life;Support corporate communications to learn one voice communication techniques, crisis management, change management, multi-tasking, facilitation, and compliance standards;Negotiate a new agreement with vender, to learn bidding process and negotiation of agreements;Support ACO controller to learn business strategy & planning, product cost, allocation of resources, building consensus;Support to government affairs rep to learn to interact with Federal and State government agencies (i.e.: EPA). Product management of registrations and labels;International Business Experience (decision made after two year rotation). Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: The passion for a Marketing, Sales and/or General Management career;A Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from a reputable business school; additional scientific knowledge is advantageous;2-3 years‘ of professional experience;Fluency in English, further languages are advantageous;The desire for continuous growth and development;The will to gain experience in a dynamic program in an innovative and global company;A high level of international mobility.
