Learn more at www.adm.com. Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Minneapolis, MNADM-Benson QuinnThis is a full time, non-exempt position. Job Responsibilities:
Support external customers: Handle phone calls and emails from customers related to their contracts, accounts receivables balances, payments, etc. Act as a liaison between the customer and the fertilizer/grain settlement group to make sure that communication remains strong and that customer inquiries are handled in a positive, timely manner.Prepare various reports, Excel files, etc. that communicate required/requested information on a regularly scheduled or ad-hoc basis. Suggest process improvements and work with internal teams to build tools to improve our customer focus through forms, reports, and electronic forms of communication. Set up new customers with e-ADM accounts. Support internal customers: Contract entry/amendments as needed, primarily for traveling salespeople when they are not in the office.Enter and distribute rail freight trading contracts.Craft fertilizer blend contract formulations.Answer or direct questions from grain and fertilizer merchandisers and salespeople.Additional duties: New vendor/customer set-up. This will include working with the centralized systems designed for this purpose. May also include routing credit applications to the appropriate department and handling tonnage tax and sales tax exemption forms. Grain lien update/entry against customer record.Reconcile inventory/position data monthly and as needed during the month when inventories reach zero.Become the subject-matter expert on fertilizer tonnage tax laws and rates in each jurisdiction, maintain rates within our systems, and answer questions from the accounting team at North American Headquarters as they arise in their group?s filing of required tonnage tax forms and payments. Utilize/update a variety of systems including DTN, Rabo AgriFinance, Farm Credit Canada, FX hedging, AGRIS, IBM mainframe, web-based forms, etc. Scanning/filing/organization of departmental records and reports as needed.Job Requirements:
