?DESCRIPTION:??Responsible for coordinating key communications, working closely with the Director of HR and others in the organization to develop and implement communication strategies with Smithfield Hog Production Missouri key constituencies (employees, community supporters, and stakeholders).??Primary responsibilities are in marketing and communications in an effort to promote positive public image among SHP-MO's various audiences.??This position will collaborate with others in the organization to achieve brand consistency, coordination of messages, and the highest standards for external communications for electronic and print communications.? ?Creation, production, and dissemination of printed publications for education, development, and administration ? ?purposes (such as newsletters, brochures, and exhibition and events)? Creation and selection of photography for print and electronic communications? Support the development and execution of identity and collateral materials for organizational initiatives? Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with graphic designers, mail houses, printers and publishers.? Work with Supervisor Manager to establish and publish timelines for communications projects and calendar? Write, produce and edit communications materials for internal departments as requested, including PowerPoint ? ?presentations.? Maintain style, logo and brand guidelines.? Maintain graphics and photograph files.? Provide organization-wide e-communications support? Lead SHP-MO's social media participation and actively monitor SHP-MO's online reputation? Conduct media relations program for selected events or activities? Write and distribute press releases? Maintain media archives? Coordinate details of events such as conferences, charity events, trade shows, sales meetings, business ?meetings, employee appreciation events and virtual events.?Calculate budgets and ensure they are adhered to.?Book all items for events such as talent, chefs, etc.?Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met.?Initiates, coordinates and/or participates in all efforts to publicize event.?Communicate and promote Smithfield Hog Production's core values, mission, and goals.??Responsible for understanding all safety requirements of the job and for performing the job in compliance with the safety requirements.? All other duties as assigned.?QUALIFICATIONS:??Strong oral and written communication skills, editing skills, creative thinking and problem solving skills, excellent organization skills, ability to multi-task, and present in front of large groups of people is required. Qualified candidates must have knowledge of Windows operating system, HTML, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, database software.
