Freeport, TXWhere the Chemistry Happens We are seeking a professional like to you to providesupport to EHS, Capital Projects, and Process Optimization at our Freeport, TXfacility. In this role, yourresponsibilities will include supporting and providing input into Freeport siteenvironmental strategy, providing technical support for process optimizationprojects, and ensuring each project meets applicable regulatory requirementsfor environmental compliance.Formulafor SuccessYourkeen attention to detail will be essential as you review daily environmentalcompliance record and periodic reporting requirements. You will also follow-up, track and ensuretimely closure of environmental related action items.Usingyour strong communication and organizational skills, you will serve as unitcontact for Agency inspections / audits and provide unit- specificcoordination, preparation and maintenance of environmental compliance betweeninternal audits.Yourstrong analytical and computer skills will serve you well as you act as the unitfocal point for all data required for new environmental permits or changes toexisting environmental permits. You willalso support permitting efforts by supplying process/operating data for capitalprojects.Utilizingyour process improvement experience, you will develop and implement processes(both equipment based and administrative) to achieve compliance withenvironmental regulations.Leveragingyour education and experience in Engineering, you will provide engineeringbased continuous improvement solutions for minimizing the impact ofenvironmental processes (includes waste minimization).As asubject matter expert, you will participate and provide expertise in PHAs and developand provide support for environmental training of Operations personnel.Yoursolid troubleshooting skills will be a valued asset as you troubleshoot processdeviations to drive improvement in quality, operability, and safety.Demonstratingyour thoroughness and experience with incident investigation, you will lead investigationsand drive resolution of AIMS associated with Environmental and Operationsincidents.Create Your Own Chemistry: What WeOffer YouAddingvalue to our customers begins with adding value to you.
