In this role, you will provide daily support to the execution team of your assigned unit. Opportunities for long term career advancement and many interesting challenges exist within this group. Formula for Success Your keen attention to detail will be a valued asset as you review daily environmental compliance records and periodic reporting requirements.Using your strong organizational skills, you will provide unit-specific coordination, preparation, and maintenance of environmental compliance between internal audits.Engaging across the organization, you will serve as Unit Contact for all data required for completion of environmental reporting, new environmental permits and/or changes to existing environmental permits.Leveraging your education in Chemical or Environmental Engineering combined with your engineering experience in chemical manufacturing operations, project design and construction or EHS, you will provide engineering based continuous improvement solutions for minimizing the impacts of environmental processes, including waste minimization.Working to ensure proper training, you will develop and provide support for environmental training of production personnel.Demonstrating your knowledge of OSHA, EPA, TCEQ and other applicable code and regulations and standards, you will ensure unit compliance with waste management activities.Striving for excellence, you will monitor and provide guidance for the achievement of plant goals, objectives, and operational budgets.Your strong understanding of process engineering concepts and their applications will be essential as you generate and complete MOCs; revalidate temporary MOCs to confirm they are still valid.Utilizing your practical experience in plant troubleshooting, you will provide technical and leadership support in root cause failure analysis for production and quality incidents.Create Your Own Chemistry: What We Offer You Adding value to our customers begins with adding value to you.
