Consultant-Social Media Customer and Content Lead

Our worldwide headquarters and research facilities are in Greenfield, Indiana.?Responsibilities ?? ?The purpose of this position is to maximize and expand the social media capabilities (Content, Strategy, Listening) across Elanco, customer and industry audiences globally.? This position will serve both as an expert on social media food animal production and companion animal conversations as well as drive global projects designed to expand the capability and use of the social media tools and outputs. This position will work in cooperation with other social media analysts/experts to provide trend/influencer analysis, recommendations on engagement strategies and benchmark/track shifts in the social conversation for Elanco and Elanco?s customers.?Develop and execute plans enabling communications, marketing, regional business units, and global market access to develop content to add value to the business.Maintain internal and external expertise in social/digital tools including the Elanco Pulse Portal, platforms and innovation that allow for the ongoing development and technical expertise associated with the digital communications and social media.Provide expertise and analysis of the global social media conversations across the food animal production and companion animal (pet) sectors. Specific food conversations include poultry, beef, pork, dairy and aquaculture as well as key issues and trending topics/issues.Deliver and enable social/digital communications to internal and external customers to support the Elanco corporate communication, global and regional marketing teams global issues, crisis teams, and business units as well as targeted businesses and customers.Serve as a subject matter expert on animal health and productivity topics and related issues within the overall food sector.? Leverage expertise with daily, weekly, monthly analysis, reports and select customer interaction.Develop, coordinate and account for a cross collaborative model among communications, marketing/messaging and business units with the digital communications to influence the sharing of content to impact positive volume, sentiment and influencers within social media.Foster and maintain relationships with internal business teams, key external customers and/or influencers and multiple agencies.?Basic Qualifications ?? ?Bachelor?s degree3 years of writing and/or managing social media/communication for political campaigns, non-profit organizations or corporationsQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
