Continuous Improvement Specialist
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Production System Implementation Lead, are to:
Develop robust understanding of Production System implementation methodology, lean content and change management approach to successfully lead production system implementation at site;
Coach/guide the team to ensure the recommendations and actions improve value for the site and company and can be implemented sustainably;
Act as an SME post Production System Implementation and facilitate the continuous improvement journey. This will be an ongoing effort after the project phase is complete;
Review project progress and challenge teams to develop action plans to close gaps to plan e.g. timelines, practice maturity progression, financial targets, adoption and sustainability of improvements;
Lead and facilitate milestone reviews and workshops during Production System Implementation;
Coordinate with stakeholders at site, global and regional leadership and production Center of Excellence (CoE) to remove roadblocks to successful site implementation. Maintain regular touchpoints with site and regional/global leadership and the CoE;
Ensure change management requirements are being addressed and coordinate change efforts to implement and sustain improvement;
Ensure adequate training of site personnel during implementation;
Deliver trainings, as required;
Coach site lead, supervisors on the Production System Implementation.
WHO YOU ARE
Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Degree in agriculture, engineering disciplines or Supply Chain Management;
Experience with large scale change;
Ability to lead through influencing at all levels of the organization;
At least 5 years experience in Operations and management areas;
Leadership experience in manufacturing or supply chain;
Skilled at leading, managing conflict and negotiating with cross-functional teams;
Focus on value delivery e.g. cost reduction, productivity improvement, behaviors and practices.
Prior experience working in Production System Environment;
Additional methodology training and certifications preferred (e.g.Lean certification, Six-sigma black belt certification etc.).
Domenstic Relocation may be offered for this role.
