Develop relationship with related CU/regional commercial managers and financial controllers to allow for optimal communication flows and visibility of results and issues
Support delivery of the CU strategy through active participation in operational excellence initiatives
Perform scenario modeling based on different business assumptions; develop and implement new business models to support decision making
Understand key cost and sales drivers as a basis for developing accurate budgets and latest estimate forecasts and long term planning
Work effectively with assigned cost center managers in managing department spend
Through effective business partnership demonstrate how finance can add value to the CU to maximize bottom line growth
Support the CU Head with monthly results presentation, analysis and commentary
Train CU community on financial matters as needed
Perform special projects as assigned by manager
Develop and lead / coordinate initiatives to design and implement new ways of working across the Finance team
As appropriate, assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with legal and fiscal requirements ensuring Syngenta license to operateEssential Knowledge and Experience:
Strong financial acumen with business partnering skills and experience to support and challenge business decisions

Meeting deadlines with accuracySkills:
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field of study.
Masters degree or CPA preferred
A minimum of 7 years accounting/finance experience
Business partnering experience required
Experience preparing company budgets
Experience with multi-site, complex environments
Ability to generate and communicate ad hoc financial analysisPreferred Qualifications:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of the organization.
Ability to use analytical and business case development skills to identify and drive process improvement.
