Position Summary: The AgServices Settlement Department has an opportunity for the right candidate to become part of a team that offers a variety of responsibilities and challenges.
The Settlement area is responsible for maintaining truck and rail accounts for multiple ADM locations.
This includes all transactional responsibilities related to contracting, payment, and invoicing of corn, soybeans, coal and lime, corn germ, and rice, along with all freight transactions for the grain division?s largest cross country truck program.
A strong candidate will be a team player, enjoys problem solving and works well with internal and external customers.
Experience:An Associate?s degree in Accounting or Business is preferredMinimum of three years of ADM experience or equivalent is preferredWorking knowledge of Agris, JDE, CICS, and MS Office system is preferred
Job Responsibilities: Utilize BPM workflow to process rail settlementsMaintain current and accurate accounts for an assigned group of vendors and customersProcess grades, unload weights, overfills/underfills, settlements and invoicesProcess contract entry, washes and cancellationsProcess and pay freight bills Ability to learn Agris Data entry and inquiryAbility to learn JDE, IBM (CICS/IMS); Data entry and inquiry using APGO and GRMENUWork closely with all Settlement group members to ensure excellent customer serviceAssist all customers, merchandisers and other personnel as neededCross train on other Settlement responsibilitiesJob Requirements:Demonstrate knowledge of grain and freight settlement practices and procedures preferredStrong analytical abilities, initiative, and problem solving skills are necessary to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.A proven track record of being dependable, reliable, meeting strict deadlines, and a strong desire to help internal and external clientsGood organizational skills with the ability to function in a team environmentAbility to multi-task while completing time sensitive dutiesKnowledge of ADM Accounting Systems including Agris, IMS, JDE, A/P, and A/R preferredExperience with accessing documents using Infopac and Mobius Document Direct Basic understanding of NGFA Trade Rules preferredRelocation assistance is not available with this position.Apply for this job.
