Corporate Development Analyst
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Enterprise Strategy group. We are looking for a Corporate Development Analyst to partner closely with leadership across business units and enterprise functions to facilitate (i) plans to achieve strategic tactics, (ii) investment and divestiture analyses and process support, (iii) decision and negotiation support, (iv) due diligence and (v) valuation. You will: Assist Enterprise Strategy team support business unit objectives through strategic and financial viability analyses.Enable decision making via creation of (i) financial analyses, (ii) scenario building, and (iii) structuring recommendations.Contribute in the presentation of results to leadership.Communicate and monitor investment policies.Assist in developing market assessment tools.Complete market research and analytics.Contribute to how market insight impacts CHS.Deliver value added insights to BU and Enterprise leadership.Assist in directing diligence efforts focused on risk identification and mitigation.Assist in the development and standardization of internal diligence best practices to (i) ensure consistent quality, (ii) limit investment risk and (iii) deal tracking/archiving.Coordinate internal and external resources to complete the appropriate level of diligence based on CHS? internal risk assessment.Lead initial review of diligence materials and examine for project impacts.Lead initial valuation modeling and coordinate proper review.Involved in all stages of the transaction lifecycle, including but not limited to (i) strategic planning, (ii) due diligence, (iii) valuation, (iv) deal structuring and (v) negotiations. Basic Qualifications: (required)Bachelor?s degree in finance/Accounting/Economics2+ years in finance, accounting, audit or transactionsBasic knowledge of GAAP with a solid understanding of financial statements and models/return calculationsBasic project management skillsSuperior skills in MS ExcelStrong organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to work independently, drive results through collaboration and to analyze and assist in solving complex business problemsExceptional verbal, written, facilitation and presentation skills Preferred Qualifications: (desired)CPA or CFA CertificationsExposure to due diligence processesInvestment banking, strategy, transaction advisory or public accountingExposure to ad hoc analyses and creation of resultsApply for this job.
