Corporate Social Media Community Manager, job description: Monsanto???s Corporate Marketing and Digital Team is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Social Media Community manager who will report to the Global Corporate Social Media Strategy Lead. This role is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and organization that is charged with advocating for modern agriculture. The Global Corporate Social Media team is the global center of excellence that leads Monsanto???s efforts to engage with the Monsanto Corporate social media communities. The global corporate social media team develops core channel strategies, reporting/analytic framework and implementation plans to drive engagement and advocacy for modern agriculture, as well as supporting a best-in-class community management that drives real-time responses to comments and opportunities identified. The Corporate Social Media Community Manager works closely with the Marketing, Digital and Content Teams, the broader communications team, the Global Stakeholder Engagement Team, the Issues Management & Preparedness team, a network of internal subject matter experts, and agency partners to engage in online dialogues to drive deeper relationships and advocacy. Responsibilities include: Build relationships with communities (followers and influencers) on multiple channels, keeping the communities engagedSchedule and publish content across social channels daily, to optimize engagement and advocacyBecome a master of the Corporate voice, engaging the communities, and responding real-time as a trusted ???voice??? for the brandPartner to identify proactive and can???t-miss social media engagement opportunities to advocate for modern agriculturePartner with our stakeholder team to identify influencer engagement opportunitiesOversee agency partner community management support and provide guidance and counsel on top company topics.Create and work with a network of internal subject matter experts who can both respond to questions and help realize opportunities.Share and collaborate best practices with Global Communications teams to help support best-in-class social media community managementStay on top of the latest social media trends and look for opportunities for the company to engage in those new tools and trendsAssist with reporting of channel metrics, analysis and able to take key learnings from communities to apply to future engagementsDrive best-in-class social media community management and audit key players in the social media community for key learningsQualifications:Required skills/experience: Minimum 2 years in a social media, digital or communications roleBachelor???s degree in Communications, Public Relations or similar fieldMastery of Social Media Channels and Tools: Must be proficient in the tactical use of core channels and key tools (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs, social content management tools, etc.). Creativity and Advanced Writing Ability: Exceptional writing skills and creative outlook with strong attention to detail, writing, editing and tone. Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment, and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines Experience working cross-functionally with several internal teams is requiredPassion for All Things Social Media: Above all else, we???re looking for an individual with a passion for social media and an infectious excitement to shape the future of the Monsanto Corporate Social Media Team.Desired skills/experience:Experience drafting messages on behalf of a large corporation, executives or content associated with issues management and preparedness and communicating complex scientific information in non-technical languageExperience with Spredfast, Brandwatch, or similar social media content management and listening toolsKnowledge of agricultureImplementing content strategies for social platformsStrong internal and external networking skillsApply for this job.
