Come grow with us!?General Purpose and Scope of Position:Wilbur-Ellis is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant. The?Corporate Accounting Analyst?will support the Corporate Accounting Group with bank reconciliations, general account ledger account analyses, quality control of the automated accounts payable function, procard compliance monitoring and creating general ledger adjustments.??Key Skills and Abilities Include:Bachelors? degree in AccountingMinimum 5 years of Account experienceSolid understanding of General Ledger accounting, including account analysis, reconciliations, and overall understanding of assigned General Ledger accountsExperience in Accounts Payable is necessaryExperience in using an ERP such as JD Edwards, Oracle, etc.Must have excellent Excel skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsKey Personal Attributes Include:Excellent detail orientation and organization skillsGood work ethicsTeam-player attitudeAdaptability to a variety of tasks requiring varying skill levels?Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:Monthly payroll bank reconciliations for two high volume payroll bank accountsGeneral ledger account analyses performed monthly and to serve as year-end audit schedules. Create adjusting journals if needed. Includes monthly intercompany interest calculations.Quality control of automated accounts payable function; includes completing information in templates if missing and uploading to the data into the A/P module of the system to initiate payments, as well as posting to the general ledger. Upon completion of weekly check printing, assemble the payment packages for mailing.?Administer the automated payment set-up with the bank and the new regular vendorEscheatment tracking for payroll checks and reporting to the state agencies yearlyCoordinate with other divisions the delivery of monthly interoffice memo documentationReview and track procard statements submitted for timeliness and creating journals for items that were incorrectly posted at the time of the journal upload.
