About this Job:Provide administrative
and logistical support to CPFD Western Region.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Provide independent
and direct support to CPFD Region Head and staff, network with other CPFD
Operations Administrators for organizational improvements and work effectively
as a part of a business teamEnsure a complete
and accurate regional development & sales support work-slate: analyzing
information, tracking changes, providing updates, etc.Manage multi-million
dollar contract research program grant processManage capital
project development process.
Analyze operating budgets, identify and resolve budgetary
discrepanciesUses discretionary, independent judgment
and decision-making to manage day to day operations during CPFD Regional Heads
absenceManage and develop cross-functional technology
tour logisticsOrganize and direct department and
professional meetingsManage record retention, permit and license
renewal, equipment inventory, safety trainingAccountable for purchasing and financial
processes. Manage
vendor servicesCollaborate
with other CPFD Operation Administrators to support CPFD meetings and operations.Identify and
define opportunities to create cross-functional efficiency and
effectiveness (e.g. HR / Finance / Legal / IS / Health & Safety)Manage temporary
employee program for the regionMaintain up-to-date and
accurate asset inventory for the territoryEnsure purchasing
and financial processes are adhered to and properly recordedDevelop, manage process to optimize and influence
cross-departmental stakeholdersSkills:
Education &
Experience:
Requires B.A./B.S. or Associate degree with 3 years experience in business
administration to include applied use of computers, personnel administration,
conferencing and communications. A demonstrated high level
of written and verbal communications is requiredAdditional Knowledge,
Skills, Traits & Abilities:
Develop an effective network of
contacts inside and outside of SyngentaUnderstanding new procedures,
working to optimize the efficiency of BR&D and other departments
within SyngentaDemonstrated ability to work within
a team, yet maintaining the ability to work independently. Being proactive to provide
innovative solutionsRequired

is requiredSkilled in problem solvingStrong organizational skillsSkilled in the use of PC hardware and software applications,
