Team Lead – WyandotteThe Contoura Pilot Line (CPL) Team Lead is responsible for the following:Prepare formulations according to a given recipeOperate CPL equipment to prepare and press samples for testingCoordinate testing protocol and/or ship prototypes to customerGather and report the data to Applications EngineerMaintain proper housekeeping standards (5S)Actively participate in BASF safety culture & programsIn addition:Schedule CPL activities with guidance from AE to meet customer or new product development needs.Oversee day-to-day tasks of contract employees (technicians) to meet production needs as well as safe operation of CPL.Conduct training as required for technicians per the training programMaintain Raw material inventory (chemicals, fibers, misc. supplies) (inventory list, physical inventory, re-order points) as necessary for safe and productive operation of CPLEnsure samples and prototypes are delivered as required by AEProperly manage wasteMaintain KPI related to productivity, costs, safetyContact Maintenance as necessary for repairs/ improvements.40-hour work week: Day Shift Mon ?
