Cracker Mechanic (Night Shift)

Responsibilities, Duties and Job Expectations-
Full compliance with all employee safety and food safety laws, regulations and rules of Golden
Peanut & Tree Nuts and ADM.-
Monitoring cracker machinery to ensure stable production volume and quality.-
Performing daily repairs or adjustments as necessary.-
Adhering to and performing scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs on cracking machinery,
included but not limited to: air compressors, crackers, elevators, conveyors, etc.-
Maintaining all required documentation related to job activities, including but not limited to
preventative maintenance, work orders, and inspections.-
Troubleshooting machine and mechanical issues-
Repairing broken parts or requesting orders for replacements-
Maintaining an accurate inventory of machine parts-
Ability to work in a loud environment while wearing provided hearing protection.-
Properly using all required personal protective equipment.-
Becoming familiar with and adhering to all employee safety and food safety guidelines.-
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications-
Role requires 2-5 years of mechanic experience.-
Strong mechanical aptitude-
Understanding of manufacturing flow processes, controls and procedures-
Working knowledge of machinery and troubleshooting abilities.-
Ability to lift, push or pull approximately 60 lbs. –
Ability to climb (a ladder or staircase ladder) or stoop to reach portion of machine to be serviced. –
Working knowledge of operation of power tools and shop machinery.-
