CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Country Operations Division.
We are looking for a Credit Assistant to provide assistance
with all credit processing activities. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team to accomplish responsibilities. You will:Process, input and reconcile daily credit transactions into loan accounting software and Purchase and Sales reports within specific parameters and timeframe.Review applications submitted for completeness. Communicate deficiencies to LPM or directly to applicant, when appropriate.Review balance sheets and tax returns submitted for completeness.Input financial information on financial trend sheets and/or other loan analysis spreadsheets and formats.Review and reconcile completed financial and income/income tax spreadsheets. Investigate or report, as appropriate, any irregularities to LPM.Initiate and review lien searches; reconcile against supplied balance sheet; identify and note liens and balances not included on the balance sheet.Call and verify credit balances and references. Note differences and make LPM aware of discrepancies.Review UCC?s (including Custodial) and perfected liens, including subordinations on all existing loans and extensions of credit to assure the collateral/lien is perfected.Generate Value Added Feeding Agreement documentation as required and review for accuracy.Review outgoing/incoming Value Added Feeding documentation for completeness and accuracy. Notify sending party of any deficiencies and correct deficiencies, as appropriate.Prepare reports as required.Assist in the review/audit of customer files and documentation; note and report deficiencies to LPM.Training available to acquire skills needed for projects.Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.Basic Qualifications: (required)Associate?s degree in Business or related field (additional experience may offset education requirements2
