A stable and well-established Ag retail client has an immediate need for a Crop Input Sales individual. This retailer has a well-established customer base, and feels that there is still room to grow. If you enjoy meeting with growers and contributing to their success, this is the position for you. Duties and Responsibilities:Establish new accounts through various marketing strategiesAssist Agronomy Sales Manager in creating sales strategiesCreate crop input recommendations based on scouting reportsEstablish relationships that are build on value and not priceWork hand in hand with Agronomy Operations Manager to ensure a high level of service after the saleVRT mapping, crop scouting, soil sampling, and other duties as necessary Background Requirements:2+ years of demonstrated agronomy sales experienceStrong knowledge of various seed, chemicals, and fertilizerAbility to identify common weeds, pests, insects, and diseaseAbility to write crop input recommendationsStrong desire to build relationships with farmers in the region Education and TrainingAA or BS degree in Agronomy, Ag Business, Crop and Weed Science, or related fieldCCA certification preferred but nor required Compensation and BenefitsAbove average base plus bonus pay structureDental, Vision, 401K, Health, Paid Vacation, and more!
