Send us your story, along with a cover letter and resume.?DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *Manage, train, and direct cultivation team ensuring projects and goals are met.Manage plant scheduling and organization precisely.Project all garden needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.Analyze budgets and test out new procedures to keep expenses low.Effectively time manage and delegate duties to staff.Maintain a clean and safe working environment for all employees.Oversee the maintenance and have a working knowledge of mechanical equipment, including but not limited to: pumps, filter systems, electrical motors, potting machines and greenhouse equipment.Ensure smooth and consistent production and delivery of products to proper locations.Collect and analyze product information from employees and patients. Implementing changes based on information to ensure improvement in production process.Set goals and meet deadlines.Maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work.Direct daily operations.Enforce and ensure all EPA & MSDS regulations on nutrients and pesticides are being upheld.Expert knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, as well as plant treatment options.Develop and lead weekly manager meetings and monthly team meetings.Participate in ongoing education and professional development as needed.Emergency response off hours.Work collectively and respectfully with other team members.Additional duties as assigned.?QUALIFICATIONS *Management and leadership experience.Experience in the horticulture or agriculture industry.Experience with expanding and setting up greenhouses.Ability to write reports, complete checklists, and correspond via email.Experience with budgeting and financial planning.Ability to manage high stress situations.Ability to work both in a team and independently.Detail oriented.Ability to work in a fast paced environment.Flexible schedule.Must have reliable transportation.Must be over the age of 21.Must be legally qualified to work in the US.?EDUCATION *Ideal candidate has a degree related to horticulture.Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent is required.?* This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
