Position Summary: The Customer Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support, utilizing discretion and independent judgment, and performs a wide variety of sales support activities through interacting with internal and external customers and suppliers.
This position is responsible for supporting the overall sales activity for SFI. Candidates must be well organized and have a proven record of strong attention to detail and high quality of work. Candidates must also operate with a high degree of self-motivation and work planning.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing purchase orders from customers for various products and ensuring the projects are planned for in the production scheme of SFI. Receiving, investigating and responding to inquiries regarding contracts, invoicing, answering incoming calls, data entry, and fielding requests for product samples.
Maintain and ensure proper documentation related to customer orders.
Establishes and develops strong working relationship with customers via mail, telephone, or in person.

Essential Job Functions:Performs Customer Service Duties and Co-manages Customer Accounts Interacts with customers concerning general inquiries, orders, shipments and products, verifies sales orders for correct pricing, and delivery dates and ensures accuracy of the sales orders.Receives and communicates orders, coordinating, and processing orders with customers.Quotes pricing and availability to secure additional business Generates correspondence to secure additional customers information to resolve customer disputesSales Order Coordination: Confirms every project entering SFI has complete paperwork, including customer information, pricing, raw material, shipping and QC/Spec requirements.Customer Complaints: Must be prepared to alleviate issues that may arise with customers.
Performs Administrative and Business Coordination Duties Assists in the international sales activity of the SCI portfolioProactively works in analyzing sales data and assisting the VP of Sales & Marketing in predicting customer needs and acting on the findings.Assist in management of SFI?s national and regional trade show presence.Operates SFI software, Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Salesforce.com. Other Duties Participates in cross-functional team projects and department activities.Participates in special marketing projects as neededCommunicates appropriately all information to respective departments.May involve periodic travel as directed by the VP of Sales & Marketing. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in Business or related fieldExcellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous, respectful and helpful).Demonstrates the ability to solve problems and handle upset customers in a professional manner.Proficient in basic accounting skills, and the ability to calculate figures and amounts across different units of measure.Strong Computer (Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Mail, Google Docs), presentation and data handling skills.Ability to compute rate and understand the basics of foreign exchange.
