Customer Service and Billing Specialist
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Energy Finance group. We are looking for a Customer Service and Billing Specialist.
You must be detail oriented with a high level of accuracy, willing to train others, have excellent communication skills, the ability to make decisions, and able to prioritize and work independently within a team environment. You will:Coordinate support to Energy customers; invoicing, disputes, investigations and invoicing corrections for Refined Fuels, Propane and Renewable Fuels products.Train co-workers on all invoicing procedures.Be a key contributor for testing enhancements to the billing system.Provide support to Customer Service Representatives, helping resolve disputes and issues corrections when necessary.Interface with the Billing Data Specialist, Transportation, Supply, Tax, Credit and Customer Setup departments to research and resolve complex issues.Complete the daily propane and lubricants sales reconciliations and work with Energy business units to resolve issues.Manage a portion of the Billing Data Specialist position as it relates to propane.Complete Petroleum Equipment invoicing for customers as needed.Make recommendations for improvement in work processes within the business team to provide excellent customer service.Assist the Customer Service Supervisor with staff training.Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.Basic Qualifications: (required)Associate’s degree2 plus years of customer service experienceProficient in Microsoft ExcelPreferred Qualifications: (desired)Bachelor’s degreeAccounting customer service experiencePrevious JD Edwards or SAP experience
