Come grow with us!?General Purpose and Scope of Position:This positions acts as the key interface between the customer, the field sales team and operations support members to ensure excellent service and overall customer satisfaction.? Ensures the correct application of and adherence to business processes and procedures.? Assists in all aspects of customer service including order processing and inventory management.? Oversees the training and development of office staff members.?Key Skills and Abilities include: High School Diploma or equivalent.An Associates or 4-year College degree is a plus.Proficiency with computers to the intermediate level utilizing Microsoft Windows, Windows applications and ERP order entry systems.JD Edwards practice and process training will be provided.Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills (verbal, written and utilizing all media (phone, e-mail, text)) for interaction with customers and fellow employees including the ability to maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.Knowledge of mathematical concepts and the ability to apply such concepts as fractions, percentages and ratios to practical application with accuracy.Reads, writes and speaks the English language fluently.Ability to sit at desk or computer terminal to perform writing, and keying/typing information for long periods of time.Mobility to move freely across uneven terrain both indoors and outdoors safely.??Key Personal Attributes include:? Strengths in teamwork and the ability to support and/or lead a team to meet changing business priorities and needs.Dependability with strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail along with ability to prioritize multiple assignments is a key attribute for success.Reads, analyzes and interprets written procedures and reports. Ability to learn detailed and specific procedures and processes and execute them accurately and efficiently.Professional responses to common inquiries or complaints from other employees, customer, regulatory agencies, suppliers, etc.?Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables include:Responds to and ensures that all customer sales inquiries are responded to in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner by office staff.Serves as the first escalation point for customer issue resolution.Oversees and performs electronic order entry and processing (sales order, shipping documents, invoicing) utilizing JD Edwards Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.Provides assistance to Branch Manager and field sales staff with product use forecast, sales reporting and budget preparation.Reviews all reports prepared in the department for accuracy and completeness. Coordinating paper flow, maintaining records, and analyzing and improving systems.Provides direct supervision of office staff to ensure smooth office operations in support of high value customer service.Provides coaching and feedback to employees to support desired customer service levels and skill development throughout the year.Ensures that all direct reports are properly trained in their necessary duties and suggest training to improve required job skills and support continuous development.Presents a professional image to our customer through personal appearance and overall branch cleanliness.Establishes and maintains a communicative, coordinated and cooperative relationship with all other departments within the Company.As part of an overall talent development plan, conducts annual performance reviews with direct reports.Leads in modeling desired safety-minded awareness, behaviors and practices.Complies with all safety rules and regulations (including but not limited to: Safety, Human Resources, Federal, State and local statutes) while performing work assignments and adheres to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.Perform all other duties as assigned in a professional and efficient manner.?Compensation and Benefits:Exempt Salary (to be determined based on experience and other factors).Full employee health and retirement benefit offerings.??COMPANY CULTURE ?Wilbur-Ellis is a company you can be proud to call your employerWilbur-Ellis markets and distributes agricultural products, animal feed and specialty chemicals and food ingredients.
