We currently have a position available at our BUSINESS facility in AgriBusiness Headquarters – Boise, ID. Lead all initiatives that oversee Customer Service, from order through invoicing, with activities involving Area Sales Managers, Production Planners, Plant Managers, Plant Shipping Supervisors, Import/Export Team, IT, Transportation Operations, Procurement, Regional Area Directors and Vice Presidents to resolve major or recurring issues and improve processes and procedures. The above mentioned responsibilities are applied to all business units within Agribusiness. Responsible for managing Customer Service Supervisor and Customer Service Representatives, as well as overseeing the following processes: orders, pricing, sales agreements, sales contracts, rebate reconciliations, warehouse storage agreements. Serves as emergency contact for rail car derailments/issues with contamination (Chemtrec). Responsible for Agribusiness import/export compliance, ensuring proper documentation and controls. Works with IT to manage system needs and issues. This position works closely with Customers, Vendors, Area Sales Managers, Regional Sales Directors, Directors, Vice Presidents, Plant Managers and Supervisors as well as local and on-site production personnel. Ability to travel 10-20%
Responsible for maintaining and building effective relationships with both internal and external customers and vendors. Provides premium customer service by facilitating accurate and timely communication of relevant information, as well as communication and implementation of department metrics.
Provide meaningful and accurate reporting information to Sales, Production Planning and management. Develop a confidence within the raw material/procurement area to help build confidence in reporting structure, which will eliminate duplication of work.
Manage, measure and instruct performance of staff and ensures ongoing development to support current and future business requirements, while maintaining a highly motivated team environment. Ensure that resources are applied and solutions are developed that meet or exceed plans and expectations to all groups within AB, as well as external customers or vendors. Manages issues, communication and reporting for all internal and external customers/plant personnel to enhance and improve system processes and procedures. Solicits feedback for optimization opportunities.
Proactively seeks process improvements throughout the entire department. Establishes KPIs to report accuracy of customer service, plant performance and sales performance.
Responsible for order to cash process, including order processing, truck freight rating and routing, pricing, system structure and contract compliance. Manage contracts, contract activities and rebates for buying groups. Ensure accuracy of all data and timely distribution of all report requests. Establish, negotiate and provide guidance on new warehouse/trans-loading contracts. Monitor and manage warehouse accruals, warehouse throughput charges and equipment costs to ensure accurate reporting information.
Responsible for overseeing AgriBusiness compliance in the area of import/export.
Maintains a working knowledge of all areas. Promotes full cross functional training for department, work load balancing and providing backup where needed.
Bachelor's Degree from 4-year college or university. 5-10 years experience and/or training, with emphasis on management experience. Comprehensive knowledge of all customer service, transportation, pricing, contracts, rebates, warehouse storage agreements and plant processes. Inclusive knowledge of ERP, Bourque, BRIO, JDE and various accounting systems.
Skills & Abilities: Ability to coach, motivate and provide direction to employees ranging from entry-level to supervisory level. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and across other departments. Advanced customer service, transportation, communication, interpersonal, planning and organizing skills. Advanced computer skills, including MS Office Suite and BRIO. Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
