Customer Service Specialist
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Lubricants group. We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist.
You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, have the ability to learn new software systems and work in a team environment. You must be analytical, detailed, and organized, with the ability to prioritize and work independently. You will:Maintain CHS Lubricant customer?s supply chain fulfillment.Support related services from pricing to all ordering processes (Internet based, EDI, email, phone or fax) to complete on-time order fulfillment to invoicing.Coordinate the entire supply chain process from receiving, reviewing and entering incoming lubricants orders, to partnering with designated plants, organizing product production and delivery.Ensure that orders are shipped on promise dates. Drive customer satisfaction and be the key customer contact to follow-up on deliveries with customers, warehouses and carriers.Utilize outstanding communication techniques with customers on the status of orders i.e.: backorders, shipping dates and other related supply chain service issues. Support internal co-workers in a high functioning team. Partner with the sales team to foster relationships with Cenex Lubricant Terminals (CLT?s), external customers and drive organizational goals.Work with IT, Business Analysts and customers to optimize and maintain internet based ordering system.Provide support with outside vendors, paying invoices and resolving disputes.Prepare and update process and procedural manuals.Provide analysis of order disputes with Cenex customers and recommendation of action by sales and marketing management.Work with team to utilize existing and new computer system platforms in a rapidly changing environment.Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Basic Qualifications: (required)High School Diploma/GED.5+ years Customer Service, Technical Customer Service or Technical Sales role.Preferred Qualifications: (desired)Bachelor's DegreeKnowledge of Lubricants or manufacturing industriesExperience with JD Edwards or SAPKnowledge of cooperative systemProficient in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
