COMPANY: Total Grain MarketingSUPERVISOR: Mike WelbourneLOCATION: Effingham, ILJob Summary:Compiles and maintains records of business transactions and office activities. Essential Functions:Answers incoming telephone calls, ascertains nature of call and directs caller to appropriate person or department.Receives and records payments from customers.Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail.Greet and assist customers.Copies data and compiles records and reports.Prepares, issues, and sends out receipts, bills, policies, invoices, statements, and checks.Operates computer terminal to input and retrieve data.Operates office machines such as computer, adding, calculating, and duplicating machines.Enter daily tickets and contracts.Purchase grain from producers and assure timeframes are met.Assure grain producers are promptly paid.Attends required meetings as requested.Successfully adhere to safety rules and company policies and procedures as well as federal and state laws. EHS, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures must be adhered to at all times.All other duties as assigned.
