Role SummaryThis role will be responsible for building the technicaldefenses of an agriculture-industry leading, intelligence-driven organizationthat works across the different businesses and collaborates closely with seniorleaders to ensure solutions meet both business and cybersecurity needs. Thisrole will lead the intelligence and threat-based cyber defense-based program. Key Responsibilities& AccountabilitiesResponsibilitiesEnsure the Cortevaenterprise network is secure.Define, implement, andmodel security practices for enterprise environments using an intelligence andthreat-driven defense model.Prioritize enterpriseinitiatives to build towards an intelligence-driven organization.Assist in maintaining acommon operating picture of security-relevant systems and controls throughoutthe enterprise.Lead initiatives toensure that the technology vision is realized including developing advancedetection and monitoring capabilities for incident management, responseplanning and reaction to events.Develop documentedsecurity architectures detailing secure, defendable configurations of systems,applications, and processes.Validate designs forsecurity throughout their lifecycle.AccountabilitiesDevelop and maintain TIcampaigns to track adversaries targeting our organization and industry.Identify and assessrisk and make sound risk decisions and recommendations.Communicate riskdecisions, project status, recommended strategy updates to senior leadership.Work with engineers todevelop and/or tune security controls and configurations.Solve complex technicaland integration issues with creative and secure solutions.Provide intel support during incident responseactivities, and directly assist with significant incidents.QualificationsKey Competencies RequiredTechnical CompetenciesExperiencewith common network defense languages/tools (Yara, snort, bro, etc.).Abilityto communicate/interact with various audiences, including senior executives.Experiencewith at least one scripting language (python, Perl, PowerShell, etc.).Experience with the Cyber Kill Chain,NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Mitre ATT&CK, or other relevant frameworks.Leadership CompetenciesProvide technical leadership and direction; function astechnical and engineering subject matter expert for cybersecurity. Partner with the business in deploying secure solutions.Previous experience in a technical leadershipposition.Executive leadership presentation skills.Experience& Education RequiredTenyears experience in the cybersecurity field or equivalent experience.Fiveyears' experience with one or more following cybersecurity areas: incidentresponse, log analysis, malware analysis, threat intelligence, computerforensics, SOC.BachelorsDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or relatedfields.Industry security certifications CISSP,GCFE, GCFA preferred.Apply for this job.
