Success in this position will be driven by an ability to deliver personalized service to dairy owners and managers, backed by a passion for using bio-economic models to optimize the feeding sustem in commercial dairy operations. The position includes:Highly competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience and education.Regular office hours, Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM with flexible hours and occasional weekends.Work vehicle and equipment.Routine local travel and occasional distant travel.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:A Doctor of Philosophy degree in dairy nutrition or a closerly-related field, or a deemed equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of two years of experience in a consulting role.At least two years of experience with dairy cattle production systems.Excellent computer and data analysis skills.Ability to manage multiple projects.Fluency in Spanish is an asset.THE LOCATION:Located in Upstate New York at the foothills of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains, the rural community of Lowville is an ideal setting for year-round outdoor activities.
