Enjoy working in a recreation rich area of the country with mountains, lakes, and ocean front all within a 60 mile radius along with proximity to the diverse metropolitan areas of Seattle and Vancouver, British Columbia. A solid refrigeration technician can be trained for this role with little prior dairy experience. A successful applicant will build trust and influence with customers as well as sustain and maintain the relationship with integrity and dedication.Responsible for on-site service, support, and some installation work including but not limited to:Optimizing the customer benefit of our systems and solutionsElectrical, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting, problem solving, and repairBulk tank refrigeration service and repairInstallation of parts and other electrical workPlumbing maintenance, installation, and repairWelding and fabricationService and repair of Lely robotic milking unitsMust be able to effectively communicate processes and changes to customers and other employeesPrepare and complete all paper work required in the maintenance processFollow all safety proceduresPerform other job-related duties as assignedApplicant requirements:High School diploma or equivalent is desiredKnowledge of bulk tank refrigeration is requiredKnowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing, welding and fabrication is requiredExperience with use of power tools, volt metersAbility to read electrical diagrams, setting up computer programs, and following instructionsEmergency service calls as a member of a rotation team to cover evening, holidays and weekends is requiredMust be able to read and understand EnglishGood customer service skills and a sense of urgency are requiredValid Driver s License and acceptable driving record is requiredPhysical requirements:Position requires constant standing, listening/hearing and hand/eye/foot coordinationPosition requires frequent walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, and repetitive motionsPosition will require occasional sitting, talking, and graspingMust be able to lift 75 to 100 pounds regularlyCompensation:Pay DOEMedical insurance paid in full for employees with HSA planMatching funds retirement programFlexible vacation pay at hiringDepending on location and experience, relocation assistance may also be available.Please submit a cover letter and resume.Apply for this job.
