Translate Functional requirements into Technical requirements and own the development of those Technical Requirements into code.
Job Responsibilities:Design Aspects:Assist with reviewing and confirming technical feasibility of integration development objects based on the integration principles and best practicesRecommend solutions to address solution gaps and assists with estimate developmentContribute to development of overall solution approachDeveloper Aspects:Design, develop, maintain, and support ETL/ELT integrations.
Create technical documentation and build instructions to onsite and/or offsite global teams and assist with deploying and validating the technical solutionDesign and develop data warehouse Platform that conforms to consistent methodologies, standards and industry best practicesParticipate in designing the overall logical & physical Data warehouse/Data-mart data model and data architectures to support business requirementsDevelop a maintain SQL, PL/SQL code as needed for Oracle databaseInterface with Integration and Robotic Process Automation Centers of Excellence to ensure development follows best practices/standardsSupervise activities of consultantsMentoring junior-level Solution Design/Developers Job Requirements:At least 6 years of Oracle BI technical experience, including recent (3+ years) experience on Exalytics and Exadata, as part of Oracle Engineered Systems3 -4 years? experience with the following:Oracle Database 10g, 11g or 12c in a Data Warehousing environmentOracle Data Integrator(ODI)Hands-on Data ModelingIndependent thinker who is capable of self-management and troubleshooting of tasks.Sourcing from ERP data sources e.g. JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Oracle e-Business, etc.Working knowledge of ETL and ELT design considerationsPreferred experience involving Oracle BI as part of supporting business transformation projects within JDE ERPComplete projects on time and within budgetWork occasional weekends or off hours during critical implementation phasesProvide comprehensive weekly/monthly status reportsStrong written communication skills including technical design documentation, proof of concept and prototype analysis and documentation. Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of managementParticipate in and/or lead meetings and workshopsEffectively work with business and project team members across the globe whether face-to-face, web conference, telephone or email.Create a positive work environment through teamwork & conflict resolution4-year Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or another related degree of studyDemonstrated understanding and experience of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
or other ETL tool like Informatica or Microsoft SQL Server Integration ServicesUnderstanding of Robotic Process Automation concepts/designHyperion integration experience also a plusProvide technical leadership to members of the BI team to deliver on-time, on-cost, and with qualityExperience with full Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, expert level of SQL, and working knowledge of ETL and ELT approach, design, and implementationRelocation assistance is available with this position.
