Dealer Recruiter & Development Manager ???Distribution Development Manager???Channel BrandMI, IND, KY, OH  Monsanto is seeking a highly motivated outside sales professional to join our US Commercial Organization as a Distribution Development Manager for Channel Brand Seed located in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio& Kentucky The Channel Seedsman is the cornerstone of our brand experience and we are seeking an individual that can both elevate our current Seedsman as well as help recruit and hire highly qualified new Seedsman. Our Channel farmer customers are embracing the next evolution in agriculture. They demand high service, the best genetics, and crave the latest technology; both in their corn & soybean seed and in the data & systems they use to make their farming decisions. That is why we are looking for the best Channel Seedsman to service these growers.  Channel Distribution Development Managers, ensure we deliver on those expectations of cutting-edge agriculture, by helping hire and equip the best seed professionals in the industry. You will have to opportunity to work for the newest brand and growth arm of our Seeds & Traits division. Agility, results orientation, innovation, business leadership and collaboration will be keys to success in this role.  The role of the Distribution Development Manager is to identify seed professionals that align with Channel???s future vision of agriculture. Then help position our brand- which is founded on the pillars of customized service, elite seed products, and expert advice. You will have the opportunity to be a Monsanto Ambassador to your local area youth, community and agriculture organizations.  What we???ll expect from you:A drive to help deliver the best experience possible to Channel growers by hiring and training the best seed professionals in the industry our Channel Seedsmen:Identification and prioritization of where Channel needs distribution.Evaluation and qualification of current distribution.Work with local teams on all phases of the recruitments process.Qualify all new seedsmen through an interview process.Work in collaboration with area leadership teams and the Monsanto Distribution Strategy team to create and execute the Channel distribution plan for a defined area.Gather business intelligence to align and develop area plans.Strengthen business relationships between Channel and Seedsman through identifying the needs and implementing the “services” into the Seedsmen???s Business Plan, coordinating with the regional Seedsmen council, and defining the communication plan.Develop a cohesive on boarding process to integrate new Seedsmen into the Channel organization.Work in coordination with the Channel Training Specialist to implement continual development and certification processes that provide a strong Channel Distribution network.Create a monthly communication plan thru online meetings.Help develop local Seedsman business plan.Coaching by influence the help ABMs and DSMs develop the Seedsman???s business plan.Member of Regional Leadership Team, to help drive the broader distribution strategy of the region.We are an organization that supports rich community involvement, strong appreciation for our customers and their goals, fantastic innovation and R&D efforts and we take pride in the products we produce. Qualifications:Required Skills/Experience:  Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of sales/management experience is strongly preferredRecruiting, training, and outreach experience is strongly desiredDemonstrated ability to empower, develop, and coach a team of individuals in a sales environmentHigh degree of problem resolution Strong conflict management skillsAbility to source, screen and select qualified and motivated sales professionalsExperience partnering cross functionally to create business plans and implement strategiesAbility to create a diverse and inclusive environmentDemonstrated skills and knowledge in selling the value of productsAbility to adapt quickly to changes in the businessHigh integrity and accountability
