QUALIFICATIONS:3+ Years experience in Dehydrator / Mill Operation, Prefer at least 2 years of Supervisory experienceAbility to work at high elevationAbility to read, understand and effectively communicate information through speaking and writingExcellent customer service, public relations, and telephone etiquette skillsAbility to walk, crawl, climb, and stand in typical industrial conditions indoors and outdoors.Independent self-starter; able to work independently and as part of a teamDemonstrated leadership skillsHigh attention to detailLogical / Analytical Math skills to include: Percentages, Fractions, Some AlgebraComputer Proficiency with MS-Office suite of tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the InternetBilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus!JOB DESCRIPTION: Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established Ag Employer in their search for a Dehydrator / Mill Manager whose role it will be to oversee all functions of the dehydrator operation including, but not limited to: ensuring a safe work environment, managing employees and being accountable for the operational objectives of the mill.Other responsibilities include:Oversee day-to-day operations of the dehydrator and millSupervise scale house operationsManage inbound and outbound ingredient condition, inventory and measurements; reconcile daily computer inventoriesManage and Maintain proper record keeping of bills of lading and receiving documentsOversee proper plant maintenanceAssure the plant meets operational objectives and reportingMake regular reports of all feed mill activity to company managementManage and review employee performance, conduct employee meetings and training, and work with Human Resources on all employee issues as appropriateEnsure all operations are compliant with State and Federal Safety regulations and company policies and procedures.Perform operations duties in the absence of trained employees and as necessary for training or to maintain proficiencyPerform other tasks as necessary ALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
