Position Summary:The Demand Planner will be part of a newly implemented Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team. The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing and finalizing unconstrained demand plan for assigned market area. This role will identify and resolve potential demand-supply imbalances, collaborating with the stakeholders within the organization. The Demand Planner role utilizes the SAP IBP technologies and other tools available to ensure the accuracy of the plan. This position will be located at our corporate headquarters in Loveland, CO.Key Tasks:Own interaction with cross-functional stakeholders required to develop a consolidated demand forecastParticipate in Demand Review meeting at divisional, regional and national levels to ensure alignment with marketingGather, analyze and incorporate external inputs to further improve accuracy and completeness of unconstrained demand planOwn review of disaggregated short-term plan which includes SKU/location mix as well as weekly pacingProvide finalized detailed demand plan by SKU to Supply Planner and make necessary adjustmentsPerform root cause analysis for key service issues, forecast error and bias as well as sharing output with appropriate leadershipOwn demand-supply imbalance issue resolution activities by collaborating with Supply Planning Analyst to resolve, as requiredShare reports, KPIs and dashboards with Senior Manager of Demand PlanningSKU master data owner for addition or removal of SKUsServe as a single contact for all demand and supply imbalance issues within assigned areaSupport Demand Senior Manager in all activities associated with and leading up to the Demand review, including pre-market, market and category demand consolidationAct as a coach in the integrated planning tower, provide coaching and provide mentorship for the other Demand Planners to resolve complex issuesOther duties as necessaryQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree required, with 2-3 years of relevant experienceStrong background in SAP/IBP preferredAPICS CPIM certified or similar accreditation a plusPrior experience should include business forecastingAbility to collaborate and communicate effectively with key-stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to support and interact effectively with other core business functionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to understand, predict and enhance supply chain processesNutrien Ag Solutions, a Nutrien Company, is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
