The Developer Enablement Technical Platform focuses on delivering solutions to our Product Development teams to enable them to spend more time building business logic and less time worrying about how to operationalize their code. The role will lead a team of architects and engineers responsible for:- Cloud Operations: Building self-service, automated tools for managing cloud based infrastructure – Developer Productivity Tools: Overseeing source control management, testing, artifact storage, and deployment tooling – Web Frameworks: Designing a consistent user experience through a shared portal As a Developer Enablement Lead you will continue to drive innovation while remaining mindful of the needs for improved efficiency and enhanced security. You will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills necessary to partner with other cross-functional teams to continue to deliver the IT platforms that support Monsanto???s mission to produce more, conserve more, and improve farmer???s lives. Responsibilities include: Architect and implement a strategic plan for the technical platform to enhance the efficiency of our development teams?? Work with architects to provide consensus-based technical solutions that are scalable, adaptable and in synch with changing business needsEnsure operational stability of existing systems while maximizing IT spend on transformational and strategic systemsPromote shared infrastructure, applications, and services to reduce costs and improve information flowsParticipate in the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of Information Technology within the enterpriseManage costs and develop forecasts for architecture and engineering resources.Help create a company-wide data culture focused on agility, innovation, and collaborationFoster an environment of ongoing education for team members to stay current in a rapidly evolving fieldQualifications: Qualifications: ??? High school diploma required; Bachelor???s degree preferred. ??? Minimum of 7 years proven experience in planning, implementing, operating, managing, and integrating complex enterprise IT systems. Experience should include knowledge of infrastructure, application development, security, and cloud technologies ??? Minimum of 1 year successful people leadership and formal experience running cross-functional projects ??? Experience as part of an agile organization with a strong understanding of agile development, continuous delivery, and DevOps ??? Possess a deep understanding and architectural experience across multiple technical domains such as application development, middleware, cloud infrastructure, security, or operations ??? Experience designing, deploying, and managing core infrastructure components (e.g. compute, storage, network, etc..) into a broader platform ??? Results-oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize several cross-functional initiatives ??? Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations by listening and applying critical thinking skills to build consensus and make decisions??? Ability to lead by influence and drive change in a matrixed and dynamic environment??? Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to grow relationships with key partners and suppliers??? Demonstrated ability to express outcomes and business value to senior leadership???
