Developer Intern (Sioux Falls, SD)
The Developer Intern will design, develop, modify, document and deliver highu2010quality programming that meets the specific needs of the business. Developers will perform a variety of programming assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing requirements. Maintain and modify programs. A TYPICAL DAY COULD INCLUDE Working with other developers on projects/tasks that may involve multiple systems interactions and may require multiple developers to accomplish the desired needs. Working with internal teams to better understand technology needed to create business process efficiencies. Collaborating with the team to evaluate, analyze, and prioritize requirements and contribute to design solution options.Contributing to designing and delivering quality software application solutions on time. Using independent thought, knowledge and judgment of the application, develop and write code to meet requirements for projects, often working in conjunction with more senior developers.Performing unit tests on code to validate functionality. Preparing necessary project documentation for projects they are responsible and accountable for and deliver the documentation to the Project Manager and department manager. Assisting with providing development effort estimates for new projects to the Business Analysts. Working with other developers to define and implement the user experience for new and existing applications. Making constructive suggestions for change and be a consistent advocate for user-centric design. Maintaining a high level of customer service and friendly atmosphere. STRENGTHS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE You are pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering and be within 1-2 years of graduation.You have a strong understanding in object-oriented programming.
