Role purposeOrganizes, investigates and analyzes farm data using various statistical techniques. Collaborates with other experts within Syngenta to interpret and draw insights from data. Generates outputs and reports from analyses for Sustainable Solutions offers and marketing opportunities. User testing and technical support for tool development and updating.
AccountabilitiesMaintains information platforms to integrate farm and other relevant data layers to provide information to deliver on Sustainable Solutions offers, marketing opportunities and Syngenta data reporting (e.g., Sustainability commitments)Generates sustainability benchmarks for crops and geographies. Evaluates and analyses aggregate data from farms representing sourcing regions and other units of interest.Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex and variable data sets to generate insight. Works with other experts in Sustainable Solutions and Syngenta in drawing interpretations and conclusions from data.Casts data on sustainability metrics and generates reports.Maintains on farm sustainability measurement systems and develops working models.Utilizes sustainability measurement tools to inform solution development and marketing offers.Engage with teams across the organization to provide on farm sustainability technical knowledge and training. IT project management, ability to develop SOWs and SOPs for Sustainability technical documentation; ability to work with internal and external stakeholdersConduct UAT (user acceptance testing) and User Case stories on new platforms/toolsStrong knowledge of utilization of statistical methodologies and ability to use programs (R, JMP, SAS)Develop dashboards for performance reports to key stakeholders (growers, channel and CUs, etc.) Work closely with AgConnections to automate reporting Skills:

Critical knowledgeTechnical and commercial acumen to support input to strategies, project development and implementation, data products and reporting to customers.Project management with hands-on involvementStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyse significant amounts of farm and environmental data, with attention to detail and accuracy
Critical experienceBachelors degree in Agriculture, Economics, Statistics, Environmental Science or related disciplineDemonstrated capability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyTechnical and commercial experience to reach a level of generalist in each areaProven capability to translate strategies into actions/tactics
