Director of Global Infrastructure
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology group. We are looking for a Director of Global Infrastructure to lead all aspects of running and building the technology infrastructure of CHS for corporate, remote offices and plants (including International sites). Today, technology infrastructure for remote sites and for mergers and acquisitions is managed outside of the corporate infrastructure organization. This position will bring all aspects of technology infrastructure together to create a common infrastructure technology strategy, create consistency, efficiencies, and an overall improved customer experience (this includes end user computing, telephony, internet of things, LAN/WAN connectivity, and local file and print). This leader will also be responsible for all projects, mergers and acquisitions, and divestitures of remote sites. This leader will establish and maintain relationships with remote site business leaders and plant managers, managing intake, service delivery and overall customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for defining and driving the infrastructure technology strategy as well as leading directly and indirectly over a variety of disciplines. You will:Establish a vision for Infrastructure aligned with CHS Information Technology Strategy. The overall objective will be to drive operational excellence, increase business productivity and enable disruptive innovation.Translate vision into strategies, roadmaps, and annual plans.Establish an agile and product management approach to delivery. Organize resource management and intake accordingly.Provide delivery of complex technical solutions within IT: end user computing, telephony, internet of things, LAN/WAN connectivity, and local file and print.Manage infrastructure projects, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures of remote sites.Develop, implement, and enhance service delivery processes utilizing ITIL, Agile, and other appropriate frameworks.Maintain and enhance relationships with remote site business leaders and plant managers.Grow people in an environment of empowerment by attracting, retaining and developing talent.Continuously improve the knowledge and skill of employees through training, education, and mentoring.Demonstrate visible leadership and exhibit CHS leadership expectations.Develop, manage and forecast the annual operating plan and budget to maximize the effectiveness of expenditures needed to meet CHS goals and objectives.Give direction to managed services.Basic Qualifications: (required)7 or more years of management experience to include:Implementing Agile practicesManaging complex projectsManaging complex technical teams with the ability to provide technical direction to resources outside of direct controlManaging multiple strategic vendor relationshipsKnowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, ITIL, and Agile principlesOutstanding communication skills with the ability to present in front of groups of varying size and audience levels5 or more years of experience managing a major infrastructure function such as end user computing or server/storage/networkingPreferred Qualifications: (desired)Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology or Computer ScienceMaster?s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science3 or more years of International Operations experienceApply for this job.
